Abhinandan Kaul in News

The College of Vocational Studies on 8th October 2020, released its first cut off list for Under Graduate admissions. Although the cut offs by CVS have been released, the admission procedure of the Delhi University hasn't started yet.

Applicants can check out the cut offs of the College of Vocational Studies on the official website of the college for various courses it offers. But, applicants must remember that the procedure for admissions is set to start from 12 October and that is when they will be able to apply for a course and college of their choice by examining the cut offs and take admission.

Hence, applicants need not panic and have the misconception that release of cut offs means the commencement of the admissions procedure. Even a few more colleges may release their cut offs before 12 October 2020, however on 12 October, the University will compile all cut offs into one list and release it on the official website (www.du.ac.in).

Applicants can have a look at the previous year cut off lists as an example to understand how it would look then-

Only after DU compiles and releases the cut offs on 12 October 2020, the admissions for the university will begin.

Along with the cut offs, the college has clearly mentioned that the entire process for admissions this year is online. It can be read here. Apart from this, the college has also mentioned the documents that would be required for taking admission. They are as follows-

It is essential to mention here that there are NO first-come-first serve admissions. So applicants are requested not to panic if there are server issues or high traffic on the official DU Site (www.du.ac.in) at the time of the admissions. Applicants mustn't be concerned with number of seats, but only must be concerned about their Best of Four/Best of Three percentages and the cut offs of colleges and courses.
